Spreading Cheer Across Tacoma’s North End.
Supported and endorsed by the North End Neighborhood Council, ‘Holiday Windows’ is bringing cheer across Tacoma’s North End through a neighborhood ‘advent calendar,’ where a total of 24 residents and businesses have decorated their windows in celebration of the season.
Each day, between December 1-24, a new beautifully decorated window will be revealed at 6PM across Tacoma’s North End. The ‘Holiday Windows’ will remain revealed and up until December 31st, 2024!
December 24th
It’s Christmas Eve!!! Our final and twenty-fourth ‘Holiday Window’ brings us to 5111 N 44th St, Tacoma, WA 98407. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a ‘Holiday Window’ wishing you: ‘Happy Howlidays!’ This year, festively dressed rescue dogs are howling holiday songs surrounded by a Christmas wreath. The window design was inspired by work from local artist Erin Darling. The Kauhis created their window to honor all the shelter pets that are looking for new homes and is a reminder to consider fostering or adopting a sweet pet this Christmas season. An Extra Bonus: On Christmas Eve and Christmas, visitors can take home a 3D-printed Christmas ornament from a tin on the porch (pictured). Merry Christmas!
